Abbey Gargiulo:

Abbey is a Licensed Veterinary Technician. Brittany Palmieri:

Brittany is a Veterinary Assistant who graduated from Hudson Valley Community College in 2009, completing her Computer Information Systems/Web Design degree. She is now studying to be a veterinary technician. In the past she has worked at Veterinary Specialties Referral Center, as well as a local animal shelter. She currently takes care of 2 cats (Patrick, & Stoopie), and two Pit Bull/Bully breed mix dogs named Petey and Jenny, both of which are both Canine Good Citizens and registered Therapy Dogs.

In her free time she enjoys camping, cooking, hiking, dog training, and fostering for Out of the Pits, which she has been a part of for almost 4 years.

Audrey Hichens:

Audrey is a NYS Licensed Veterinary Technician. She earned her associates degree in Veterinary Technology from S.U.N.Y Delhi in 2001. She lives with her husband and 2 daughters. Audrey also owns 3 cats and 1 dog. Her hobbies include gardening, scrap-booking and camping.

Thresa Clinton:

Thresa, originally attending college in Plattsburgh for a degree in English Education, realized her true passion was helping animals and gave up her scholarship to dedicate herself to animal care. Starting at the bottom and working her way up, she has experience in grooming, kennel care, vet assisting, reception and business marketing, in both primary and emergency care practices. Missing the hands on fun that comes with working directly with patients, Thresa moved on from her position as Marketing Manager at a local practice. A proud supporter and foster of Rotti Empire Rescue, Thresa has 3 dogs and 2 cats. She is excited to be at a practice which includes avian and pot bellied pig care. In her free time she is an avid “outdoors woman”, taking every opportunity to go hiking, camping and kayaking.

Donna Wakefield:

After many years working in an office environment, Donna decided to change course. She obtained her Associate's Degree of Zoo Technology from Santa Fe Community College, in Gainesville, Florida in 1996. Her husband's job took them to Dallas, Texas. Unfortunately, the commute to either the Dallas Zoo or the Fort Worth Zoo was too far, so Donna created her own zoo, with 5 parrots, 2 dogs, 1 cat, and 3 horses.  Approximately 4 years ago, Donna and her husband (and zoo) moved up to this area. Donna decided she needed some part time work, preferably in an animal environment, and now works as a receptionist at Country Valley.

Adriana Holston:

Adriana graduated from Fulton-Montgomery Community College in 2016 with an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts & Sciences. Shortly after, she began her studies for a Bachelors Degree in Animal Science at SUNY Cobleskill. She will soon begin studying to be a Licensed Veterinary Technician due to the wonderful experiences she has gained. Adriana has 1 cat (Kipper) and 2 dogs (Daisy & Wicket). She truly enjoys school and learning, but is far more interested in spending time with her beloved pups! In her free time, Adriana enjoys baking, jogging and traveling.
